Rajura's Rural Hospital to be upgraded
KEEPING in mind the future development of the town and to ease difficulties faced by the citizen of Rajura. Jivti and Korpana Taluka's in procuring specialized medical help, the existing 30 bed rural hospital at Rajura will be upgraded into a 100 bed hospital very soon. A grand function was organised to celebrate the ground breaking ceremony of the new project at the hands of Sanjay Dcotalc. Guardian Minister of Chandrapur district. Prabhakar Mamulkar, ex MLA presided over the function.
Subash Dhole. MLA. Dr Pramod Sonule. Civil Surgeon. Dr Lavji Kulmethe. Dr Patil. Dr Jadav. Niranjan Telang. Executive Engineer, MangaJa Artam, Civic Chief. Arxin Dhole. Dy Civic Chief. Dadapaiit Lande. Avinash Jadav. Sunil Deshpande, Nanaji Ade. Swamy Yerolwar. excivic chief and Ashok Deshpande were the other dignitaries present on the dais.
In his introductory address Dr Pramod Sonule. said that the up gradation of this hospital to 100 beds was extremely necessary to provide effective medical treatment to the citizen of this tribal and backward area. Administrative sanction was been obtained on September 2.2014. Being constructed at a cost of around 8 crores this hospital will cater to all the medical needs with slate of an equipments and specialized doctors. There will be a ground plus one floor with a total constructed area of 3248 square meters. There will be 3 ultra modern air conditioned operation theatres. 13 doctors including specialists and 27staf
nurses. This hospital will also have a full fledged blood bank catering to the blood requirements of the patients.
Subash Dhote in his address highlighted the difficulties he had to face in procuring sanction and funds for the hospital. He thanked the concerned departments for completing the formalities in record lime and extended his special thanks to Deotale. guardian minister and Shelly. Health Minister for their valuable help. He further stated (hat Rajura being a border town there will also be patients from Andhra Pradesh. Fee treatment for all major ailments will be given to patients with income up to 1 lakh. Sanjay Deotale and Prabhakar Mamulkar also spoke and praised the efforts taken by Dhote in the development of Rajura constituency and procur-ing substantial funds for the projects. They said that with this hospital citizen of thisarea will not have to visit Chandrapur for treatment, saving lime and money.
Ashis Bele conducted the programme and also proposed the vote of thanks.
Later Dcotalc performed the ground breaking ceremony for road and drain works at Ramanagar ward under the Nagri Dalit Sudhar Yojana costing 1.5 crores.
In this function along with all the dignitaries there were Vijaykumar Sarnaik. Chief officer, Shyam Bolam. Sbarda Khandale, Priyadarshani Umre. and other members of Municipal Council Rajura.
