Jan-Dhan Yojana camp held in Shri Shivaji college

TO MAKE every Indian avail financial inclusion and Insurance cover in the country a two day camp was organised by Shri Shivaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science and Bank of Maharashtra. Rajura branch to implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Pradhanmantri Jan-Dhan Yojana". at the college premises the other day.

Sanjay Hiremath. Dhananjai Moigharc, MainakTeramanik. Kapil Joshi. Avinash Jadav and DB Bhongle were the dignitaries present on the occasion.

In the camp 300 savings accounts were opened and the account holders were issued bank pass books and Rupay cards.

Dignitaries guided the students on the importance of saving for a better future. They highlighted the details of this scheme under which the person who opens an account will get a debit card and the family will get an insurance policy of Rs 1 lakh to tide over any unforeseen eventual ity.
