MSELEF to hold meet of non-teaching employees
WITH an aim to press for the cancellation of the Government Resolution issued on November 25. 2005 and permanent implementation of the Chiplunkar Committee's Report and to meditate on various other problems, the Maharashtra State Education Laboratory Employees Federation (MSELEF) has organised a meeting of the non-teaching employees of various schools and colleges in the district at the local Chhotubhai Patel High School and Junior College.
The MSELEF office bearers informed through a press release that the State Government had issued a GR declaring thousands of non-teaching employees excess on November 2005 that had paved way lo the problem of unemployment on the thousands of non-teaching employees working in the educational institutes throughout the State.
Condemning the GR. a grand morcha of the non-teaching employees was laken 10 the Slate Assembly during the Winter Session when Vasant Chindiiuji Purke. the then Education M blister announced i he cancellation of the said OR. But just within 6 mondis after cancellation, once again the GR was implemented as it is. Therefore once again the non teaching employees launched dhama before the Education Directorate in Pune. Later, they again organised another morcha in Aurangabad when there was a meeting of the Ministry when they were cane charged. With this about 35,000 non-teaching employees will be declared excess and therefore with an aim to demand cancellation of the said GR and permanent implementation of the Chiplunkar Committee's recommendations, a meeting of the non teaching employees has been organised at the Chhotubhai Patel School. Jaiprakash Kambale. State Vice President. Devisional Chief and District President of MSELEF appealed all the non-teaching employees in the district to attend the meet in large numbers.
