Mobile blood collection unit dedicated to public

                                                                                          

A MOBILE blood collection unit was dedicated to public, the other day. The unit, sponsored by Dr Hedgewar Blood Bank run by Adarsha Sanskar Mandal, was inaugurated at the hands of Chandrashckhar Meena, District Superintendent of Police. The project is aimed at spreading message of voluntary blood donation to members of the society. With the mobile blood collection unit, prospective donors will be able to donate their life-saving blood at their own doorsteps.

The function was presided over by Parthsarathi Patra. AGM of SBI Nagpur Zone II while Ashwini kumar Tupkari. Director of Dr Hedgewar Hospital. Aurangabad. was the chief guest on the occasion.

Prof Narendra Deshpande. Vice President of Adarsha Sanskar Mandal was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that social service is nothing but worship 10 God and Dr Hegdewar Blood Bank practices this ideology. He expressed confidence that the mobile blood collection project shall inspire members of the society to come forward for donating blood.DSP Chandrashekhar Meena apprcciaicd efforts of the blood bank to awaken public and the practical role of the unit in the present context of social life. He assured all help from Police Department for the cause behind the social project.AGM of SBI Nagpur Zone II. Parthsarathi Patra. expressed happiness over Rank's association with ihe project and wished that public contribution by way of blood donation makes the project, a success.

AUv Kiran Knot conducted the proceedings and Shrikant Kondolikar proposed a vote of thanks.

The inaugural programme concluded with singing of 'Pasydaan' by Prof Bhakli Bidwai. MLA Govardhan Sharma. Adv Dada Deshpande. Gopal Khandelwal of Adarsha Shikshan Prasar Mandal. Noted Surgeon Nanasaheb Chaudhary. SBI Main Branch Manager S T Bordc. Dr MahendraTamhane. President . Nilesh Joshi Secretary and Shanianu Joshi. Direcior of Dr Hedgewar Blood Bank were the Other digna lories present on the occasion.
