Lodge graft cases fearlessly with AGB, Jadhao to people
SUPERINTENDENT of Police of Ami-Corruption Bureau <ACB). Nagpur Division Prakash Jadhao has called upon people lo register complaints about bribe or corruption and I help the ACB to take legal action against those involved in the corrupt practices.
Talking to the press reporters in ACB district office here on Tuesday afternoon for the j first time after assuming the charge. Jadhaoi said efforts are being made to publicise ACB among the people, especially in remote areas so that they come forward and lodge complaints fearlessly.
For this a toll free number 1064 has been started which can he called from BSNL land-line and mobile and also idea mobile. Another mobile number 9730396515 also is available round the clock for the public to lodge their complaints, he informed. The ACB has its own website and most updated face book account which can be accessed by the people. Jadhao told.
The ACB is committed to ensure that the funds al lotted for various developmental works and welfare of tribals in the district are utilised properly. If the citizens see any sort of corruption by the implementing agencies, they can approach ACB. Jadhao said. ACB will take immediate action on the complaints, he assured.
The conviction rate of ACB cases is higher than other departments because we have been taking necessary measures of verifying the cases prior to the trap. Jadhao claimed. The private financial companies collecting large amount of money from the investors does not come under the purview of ACB hence no action can be taken against such companies, he added.As many as 12 traps were done this year. ji uas inkl.
