Ghandrapur Municipal Corporation honours teachers, students
TEACHER'S Day was celebrated at the local Priyadarshini Cultural Hall under the auspices of Chandrapur Municipal Corporation (CMC), the other day. Sangita Amrutkar, Mayor. CMC presided over while Sudhir Shambharkar. Commissioner. CMC inaugurated the function- Ritesh alias Ramu Tiwari. Chairman of the Standing Committee. CMC. Rajesh Mohite. Deputy Commissioner.
Sharadchandra Patil. Principal. Zilla Shikshan Prashikshan Sanstlia. Prof Nitin Ramteke of SRM College. Corporators Sanjay Vaidya. and Anjali Ghotckar. Hanmant Birajdar. Administrative Officer (Education). CMC. and Vinaykumar Jogekar. Zone Chairman were present as the chief guests.
Retired teacher Pratima Pandharc. ideal teacher Nagesh Dadaji Neet. Bahita Uikey. and Headmaster T M Reddy were honoured with shawl, shriphal. memento and certificate while the first and second topper students of Std 4. 7 and 10 from the CMC schools were also felicitated with gift and certificate on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion. Amrmkar said that school is nor a place to extend academic education only to the students but a platform to lei I he Students to explore their hidden talents and skills. There should affectionate coordination between the students and teachers. Commissioner Shambharkar said that even school should have all the facilities as per the Right to Education Act and the teachers should try to complete all the drawbacks. He also appealed the teachers and students to plant at least one plant at the available space under the 'Aavdel te Zaad' scheme of the CMC. Sharadchandra Patil said that the teachers should do their works with responsibility and develop moral binding with the students. Prof Ramtcke asserted the school is a place for inculcating moral values and virtues among the students. Sanjay Vaidya asked the students to plant trees and save water. Hanmant Birajdar delivered introductory remarks. Devanand Kamnale. Suchita Malodc and Vijayalaxmi Kundale conducted die proceedings while Dilip Kamade proposed vote of thanks. Dnyaneshwar Mahajan. Ratnakar Ramtekc. Manoj Baddalwar, Hadve. Shruti Muley. Sunil Atram, Nagesh Neet, Shyam Daivalkar. Saiyyad Shahzad. Madhukar Madavi, Surekha Nimhalkar. Hemlata Bokkawar. and Rekha Chingaiwar look efforts to make the programme successful.
