WHEN A baby boy is born in a family, everybody welcomes him with a broad smile. They all celebrate the occasion. But one can see lone faces on the arrival of baby girl in the family. Being an educated individual, it is responsibility of everybody to root out this social thought and welcome the girl with open arms rather then killing her, It is social responsibility to oppose and strongly protest femal foetcide. This positive change is very much essential in the society, said Adv Avin Agrawal.

He was speaking at the programme organised at St Annes School here recently. The school had taken out a huge rally on 'Save Girl Child".

Adv Agrawal further said. "Mother (aai) is the most important person in evrybody's life. She is the reason for our existence. We owe her our life. She saves us and protects us from all adversities. But we are killing her for no reason. Instead, it is our respoasibility to respect her and take care of  her. If we all succeed in preventing female feoiicide. people will welcome their girl child wholeheartedly. To fulfill this dream, every must give in their hest and make the 'Beti Bachao' movement successful." said Agrawal.

Father Peter Pathare presided over the programme.
