Parties planning poll strategies

The political parties are all set to launch the campaign for state assembly polls. With the announcement

of polling dates, hectic political activities are gaining momentum.

Once, the candidates names are finalized by the respective parties , the electioneering will pick up pace. As the polling dates are already

' declared, the leaders of political parties are engaged in chalking out their strategies.

In Washim district, elections will be held in three Assembly segments

 viz. Washim ( Reserved). Risod and Karanja. As the political parties are concerned, the Congress and BJP have been fielding their candidates in the Washim (Reserved) constituency and Risod constituency. While, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena have been fielding their candidates from the Karanja. If the democratic front is concerned, ii remains to be seen how the seal sharing cakes place between the Congress and NCP. For the BJP and Shiv Sena alliance, the formula of seal sharing between them is also important. Another factor that seems more pertinent is that other allied partners of the Mahayuti mighl stake their claims on the Assembly KgmeiiLsofWashim(Reserved) and Risod. Then only, the final picture will be clear. Though, nothing is still decided by the Congress. NCP. BJP and Shiv Sena, the contestants are chalking out their strategies. Other political parties like BSP. SP, RPI-BMS, MNS and Shivsangram etc. might have finalized the names of their candidates, their names are not yet disclosed.

The major parties like Congress. NCP, BJP and Shiv Sena have almost finalized the names of their candidates. The names are kepi confidential as for now. In the next week, probably by September 25. the parties will reveal the names.
