Ashish Kamble wins Keshavsut Poetry Competition
Ashish Vijay Kamhlc of Government Vidarbha Institute of Humanities and Sciences (GVlilS) won the Poet Keshavsut Poetrv Competition organised recently by Marathi Department of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University.
Kamble won the first prize of Rs 2.000. PawanDahateofShriShivaji Arts and Commerce College. Amravati won second prize of Rs 1,500 and Sumit Dcvendra Ugale of Marathi Department won third prize of Rs 1.000. All winners were given away the prizes at the hands of Dr Jaikiran Tidke. Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University. Well-known poets Sukhdeo Dhanke. Baban Saradkar and Dr Manoj Tayade. Head of Department, were judges of the competition.
Dr Tidke said on the occasion. "A poem is a beautiful manifestalion of emotions of a human being. A good poem makes one introspect and ii has its relations with born talent." Dr Manoj Tayade also spoke on the occasion.
Total 30 students participated in the competition. This three-hour-long competition got good response from audience also. Dr Dhankc. Saradkar. Bhagtwam Falke also presented their compositions in the programme. Dr Hemani Khadke. incharge of the competition conducted the programme while Dr Pranav Koltc proposed a vote of thanks. Dr Mona Chimote. Dr Madhav Putwad. Bhagwan Falke. Kishor Deshmukh took efforts for the programme.
