NSS volunteers hold tree plantation programme in crematorium



NATIONAL Service Scheme(NSS) squad of Arts College. Badnera and Barrister RDIK and KD College. Badnera started an innovative project by organising tree plantation programme at the crematorium at Badnera recently. NSS volunteers carried out tree plantation at the crematorium on Akola road. Badnera.
Dr B S Bidwe. NSS Coordinator from Mumbai. chaired the programme while Dr Atul Salunke. Public Relations Officer of NSS Department of State Government. was present as the chief guest at the programme.
Dr Atul Salunke said on the occasion that deaths are an unavoidable happening and therefore crematoriums are indispensible. However, they have remained unattended and lack facilities. Dr Salunke added.
He also praised for Dr Santosh Bansod also for NSS volunteers for carrying out the innovative tree plantation programme at the crematorium.
Awareness programme was also conducted by volunteers on the occasion. Dr Santosh Bansod made the the Introductory remarks and also conducted the proceedings while Dr Kalpana Mehare proposed a vote of thanks. Dr
R D Deshmukh. Principal. Dr Gopal Wairale. Principal, Dr 0 B Munde. DrVijayMete. DrAnilGaur and Ramprasad Jaiswal were prominently present.
