MAHARASHTRA Governor ChVidyasagar Rao arrived in the city on Tuesday night, on his four-day maiden lour of Vidarbha region till November 7. During his lour, the Governor will be visiting Nagpur.Amravati.andGadchiroli districts.

Pravin Datke, Mayor, welcomed the Governor on the lat-ter's arrival at Dr Babasaheb Amhedkar International Airport here. Anoop Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, also welcomed the Governor with a bouquet. After reception, the Governor proceeded straight to Raj Bhavan, where he would take a night hah. As per the official itinerary, ChVidyasagar Rao will leave for Amravati at 9.20 AM on Wednesday. There, he will grace the inaugural function of 12th Maharashtra State Inter-University Cultural Festival 'Indradhanushya-2014' hosted by Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University at IOAM.I.aler,hewill leave for Dharni. where he will visit anganwadi, Public Health Centre and Dhami Rural Hospital.
