Rs 50 lakh goods reduced to ashes in fire at Yavatmal shop

                                                     

GOODS worth Rs 50 lakh were reduced to ashes in a major fire that broke at the Perfect Material shop on Ami road on Wednesday night.

The shop, trading in building material, belongs to the Mundada family. I;ire broke at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night. As there were inflammable material like oil paints and other such things, the lire spread quickly. I'ire tenders of Municipal Council immediately reached the spot on gettingin for mation and they doused the fire after hard efforts.The traffic on Ami road was hailed for sometime so that fire fighters can accomplish their task at the earliest. MLA Madan Yerawar also visited the spot and made enquiries. It is believed thai the fire broke following short circuit.
