Notebooks distributed on Children's Day


NOTEBOOKS were distributed to the needy children during a programme organised on the occasion of Children's Day inTukum Ward under the auspices of Congress Party unit of the Ward on account of 125 th birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the other day.
Umakant Dhande, Zone Committee Member of Chandrapur Municipal Corporation, AshokSanghavi, Murlidhar Chtudhary, Aslam Khan, Vijay Malikar, Domaji Ciajbhe, Vijay Balki, FazaJeWaliid, Headmaster of Urdu Higher Primary School, Ttikum. Ha/are, Assistant I leadmistress, and Kehana Shaikh were prominently present on the occasion.
At the outset, the guests garlanded thepictureof.Pt Jawaharlal Nehru and paid rich tribuies.The needy students of Dewai Govtadpur Tukurn Primary School and Sir Saiyyad Ahmed Urdu Primary School were distributed the notebooks on the occasion. Satish Soyam delivered Introductory remarks.
Speaking on the occasion Umakan t Dhande guided the students on the invaluable contribution of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru in the freedom struggle and after independence. Healsothrewlighi on Nehru'sefforts to give an international identity to the country.
