A MARRIED woman was killed in a tiger attack that in Kothari Forest Range on Thursday.The deceased has been identified as Padnia 1 Hanumant Madavi (30). a resident of Chintaldhaba.
According to information, deceased Padma along with three to Four other women had gone to jungle to collect firewood. When they were busy working, a lurking tiger attacked Padma in compartment no-97 in Chintaldhaba beat in Central Chanda Territorial Division at 2.30pm. the tiger then dragged her in to the deep jungle. The other women (led the spot and informed villagers about the incident.
Villagers rushed into the forest but failed to find Padma's body. The Forest officers, on being informed searched her body and performed panchanama.
Meanwhile, angry villagers refused to take the body of victim from the spot. It was after the forest teamheaded by ACF Dhotre SnVF.N passengers sustained severe injuries while 48 other including the driver were hurl when a recklessly driven State Transport Bus turned turtle and collided to a roadside tree. The accident took place near Naigaon-Chamak village diversion on Thursday morning at about 7.30am. Amonglhe in jured were mostly students who were heading towards Paratwada to attend their school and colleges. According to information, State Transport Bus (MH-40-8725) of Paratwada Depot, driven by Prabhakar Bhimrao Chandale (Buckle Number 34 (36)), was heading to wards Paratwada from Kolha village earning about 80 to 82 passengers on Thursday morning.
