Women relieved of gold chain in separate cases
MOTORCYCLE-BORNE robbers looted gold chains worth Rs 70,00(1 from two women in separate incidents on Wednesday morning.
In the first incident [hat took place in Silabuldi Police Station area, a mobike-borne robber snatched away a gold chain valued at Rs 40,000 from Hansa Annp Agrawal in front of Hindustan Bar & Restaurant onTekdi Road.
A resident of lodhraj Bhavan.near Anand Talkies, Silabuldi, HansaAgrawal (41) was returning home on a Honda Atiiva (MH-3I/I-R-9900) after dropping her daughter at Bhavans B P Vidya Mandir. A youth came from behind on a mobike and snatched away the chain worn by her.Silabuldi Police registered a case under Sections 392 of the IPC.
In another incident, a robber yanked a gold chain worth Rs 30,000 from Archana Akshay Randale (40) in Imambada area when she was on way to Super Speciality Hospital.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by Archana, a resident of Siddhesri Pratiksha Apartment, Ganesh Nagar, Imambada Police started investigations.
