Nagpur-based Phoenix Infra's officials booked

THREE directors and officials of Nagpur-based  Phoenix

Infrastructure Private Limited are still in the custody of Indore Police for last one monihfor duping and cheating the buyers of plots. Crime Branch of Indore Police registered a case under sections420. '167, and 468 (cheating, fraud and forgery) of IPC against seven persons including Managing Directors, directors, and officials of the company. I'hoenix Infrastructure Private Limited deals in lands in many cities of the country including Nagpur. In the Orange City, the company has its Head Office at Wardha Road.

The residentsoflndore lodged FIR in Vijay Nagar police station against Ahmed Jiwani, a resident of Chhindwara Road. Nagpur; Vijay Kumar (iautam, a resident of Somalwada; Jilesh Nashine, Chairman and a resident of Shyam Nagar, Somalwada; Yogesh Nashine, Mahesh Nashine, Dinesh Chandrashe- khar, all residents of Manish Nagar; and Pradeep Rathore, a resident of Indore.

Based on the complaint, Indore Police arrested Directors of the firm Yogesh Nashinc and Mahesh Nashine, and local officer Pradeep RaLhore. They are in the custody of Indore Police for last one month.

Phoenix Infrastructure Private limited had allegedly duped around 500 people of Indore. The company had purchased 125 acres of land from a person in Indore. It sold around 100 acres ofland to 700 persons. I lowever, the company did not pay remaining amountof around Rs20crore to the owner of the land.

The company did not register documents with 500 huyers and look away all the money from them, it was alleged. Forty personnel of Border Security Force also bought land from the company.

As per the Flit lodged in Vijay Nagar police station in Indore, the company had land in Beligram, Betma, Khurd, Mohana, and lamli village areas and assured buyers to develop residential colonies.

The branch office of Phoenix Infrastructure Private Limited situated at 334 Orbit Mall, Indore, was perpetually closed and the directors were never available for answering the questions of buyers.

Meanwhile, Sitabuldi Police in Nagpur also received complaints against directors of the company over plots in MiHAN area in Nagpur. Till now, Sitabuldi Police have not acted on the complain is.
