All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar is one of the new apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training, the PMSSY planned to set up new AIIMS institutions in underserved areas of the country.

Educational Qualification :

For Medical Officer (Ayurveda): A degree in Ayurveda of a Recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent Recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) and Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.

For Medical Officer (Homeopathy): Degree in Homeopathy of recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council or equivalent recognized under the Homeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973) and Enrolment on the Central Register of Homeopathy or State Register of Homeopathy.

For Yoga Trainer : Graduate from a recognised University and Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institution by the Government.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs.200/- for SC/ST Candidates in the shape of Demand Draft in the name of "AIIMS Bhubaneswar payable at Bhubaneswar.
