Plea of city contractor against State PWD blacklisting it: HG's notice for final disposal on Nov 10

                                                       

 

RISPONDING to the writ petition filed by city contractor. M/s Ankit Consimction's Managing Partner. Kishore Kanhere against his partnership firms blacklisting for three years from July 28, 2014 by the Stale Public Works Department, Nagpur Region Superintending Engineer alleging various illegalities and irregularities in execution of Govt, contracts, on the basis of allegations by the fellow contractors in the PI I. at the High Court by their Association; Justice Vasanti Naik and Justice C.V.Bhadang have issued notice before admission to the respondents for final disposal of this petition on November 10 next.

The Court has issued notice to the respondents - Stale Chief Secretary. PWD Secretary, S.E..PWD Nagpur Region, and the Executive Engineer, Public Works Division No. 1 here.

The petitioner-contractor's grievance is that due to business rivalry and jealousy, some fellow contractors made false allegations in their PII.without making him party to the I'l L, though-serious allegations were freely made against the petitioner-Firm. It has been staled in the petition, that the slate Govt, appointed a Committee under the Superintending        Engineer,

VigilanceSquad, Mumbai.which enquired into allegations behind the petitioner's back.

The firm was given show cause notice on October 7,2013 asking il to explain as to why it should not be blacklisted as per the ResolutionofSeptember28,2006. The peiilioner replied to the notice   with   no documents
