THE. dengue fear has gripped Washim district too. A number of patients suffering from fever have been checked lor dengue. As many as 2,542 patients were examined and 130 patients were reportedly suffering from Dengue-like fever. In 4 cases Dengue has been confirmed. After recovery, they were discharged from the hospital.

In ihe month of October, total 2,542 patients were examined in thcGeneral Hospital. Of ihcm.l.'JO patients were reportedly suffering from Dengue-like fever and after medical treatment they were discharged From ihe hospital, informed Civil Surgeon l)r Surekha Mendhe.

Doctors treating patients admitted in theGeneral Hospital have advised them and their kin to maintain cleanliness in their houses and surrou ndi ngs. In case of fever one should immediately consult doctors or they should be brought to the hospital for treatment, people were told.
