VRAS stages stir in front of Adsul's house
ACTIVISTS of Vidarbha Rajya Andolan Samiti (VRAS) staged agitation in from of MP Anand Adsul's office demanding separate Vidarbha. also sang bhajans.
The activists of Vidarbha Rajya Andolan Samiti gathered here near the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Irwin square and sang songs and bhajans stressing on separate Vidarbha. They raised various slomarched towards the office of MP Adsul here at Sport Complex at Zilla Stadium.
Activists presented a memorandum to MP Adsul. According to activists, demand of separate statehood to Vidarbha is much older than Telangana. Political parties, government organisations and public opinions arc also in favour of the demand. The living standard in Vidarbha has affected due to hack-log in almost all fields which only is increasing. Shiv Sena text has failed in developing Vidarbha. The party should declare its support to new state, they said.
