SHRI Shivaji Education Society (SSES) and Shri Shivaji College have jointly organised two-day state-level symposium on 'Regional imbalance in Maharashtra: Form and challenges' on August 22 and 23. This symposium sposnsored by Indian Council tor Social Sciences Research will be held at AV Theater of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University.

Dr K K Patil. Parbhani will be key note speaker. Dr Mukta Jahagirdar. senior economist, will preside over. The second session will be held on area-wise analysis of regional imbalance in Maharashtra. Dr Mrunalini Fadnavis. member of VSDB. will be key note speaker. Dr A B Deogirkar. Aurangabad will preside over. On 23rd. a special lecture of Dr Vinayak Deshpande, Pro Vice Chancellor, RTMNU. will be held. Senior Economist Dr D V Jahagirdar will preside over.
