Shekhawat directs AMC officialsa to expedite devpt works
MLA Raosaheb Shekhawat recently took review of the works sanctioned by Stale and Central Government for the development of Amravati City here in the presence of Arun Dongre, Muncipal Commissioner and officers from AMC here at the AMC recently. He has ordered to give speed to the works which have affected.
MLA Raosaheb Shckhawat has broughis funds for various developmental fund from State and Central Government by sanctioning various works. A MC has recieved huge fund from Slate and Central Government for completing these works.
For taking review of these works MLA Raosaheb Shekhawat had called an meeting with the AMC officers here at the auditorium of AMC. Review of various 17 works in the city have been taken in the meeting. These works include works under drought fund, works under to be done with fund of Rs. 12.5 crorcrs recieved under fundamental development fund, construction of hospital at Tarkheda. Habib nagar Nullah security wall, repairing of Parkot wall, hcnulitlcationof Amha and Ekviradevi temple premises, ncautification over road dividers, make avail land to Dhobi Ghat, works under Tap Connection scheme, works underGharkul scheme, developmental works to be done at Rs. 26 crores under 13th Planning Commission, beautification works at Rajkamal Square and Girls High School square, to give speed to the road construction and repairing works under City Development Format and others.
MLA Raosaheb Shekhawat directed the officers to immediately complete these works.
AMC Administration has assured to complete these works as soon as possible.
An women's delegation of Ekvira Housing Development Co-operative Society from Radha Nagar met with MLA Shekhawat during the meeting and have demanded to construct flood security wall at the nullah near to their society.
They also have demanded to removed the illegal Mobile Towers erected on their buildings and to make available street lights in their localities. Women delegation from Rahatgaon also met with MLA Shekfaawai on the occassion and have demanded to construct road at Rahatgaon village.
MLA Shekhawat directed the AMC Officers to take immediate cognisance of the demands.
Mayor Vandana Kangale, Dhnyanedra Meshram. City Engineer of AMC. Poddar. Executive Engineer and Corporators Suganchand Gupta. Vilas Ingole. Bharai Chavan and Amol Tliakare along with Sanjay Akarte, City President of Congress Parly and others were prominently present for the meeting.
MLA Shekhawat felicitated Arun Dongre, Muncipal Commissioner for his succesful presentation for including Amravati City in50 Smart City Scheme of Central Government in a programme held at New Delhi recently.
MLA Shekhawat felicitated Dongre by offering shawl, shrifal and bouquet to him.
