Infant's cry alerts NDRF jawan to rescue mom, child
AMIDST the chaos of the disastrous landslide which wiped out Malin village off the map. a three-month-old Rudra asserted his right to life, by crying and beckoning rescuers, for more man eight hours. while clutching his mother fainting under the suffocating debris.
Eventually, it was Rudra's full throated crying which alerted National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) personnel to locate him from the gloomy recesses of a mound formed by the cascading debris.
Recuperating at a hospital at nearby Manchar. Rudra's mother Pramila Limbe said that both of them were trapped under the heap of mud as the hillock came crashing down on Wednesday morning
