Bandh observed in Badnera after clash between two communities
Tension gripped at Badncra town in a group clash between Sindhi and Muslim community people. Sindhi people had given a call of bandh on Friday. Shiv Sena. BJP and MNS supported the bandh. The tension occured between two communities due to clash between vouths from both sides. According to information. Sufiyana alias Mohammad Khan (18) was smoking at Sindhi Camp locality at about 11 pm on July 27.
Santosh Asudasmal Chetwani (20). Mukesh Panjwani and golu allegedly beat him for smoking, it is alleged. Police had booked all the three youths under sections 284. 323. 504 and 34 of IPC on the complaint from Sufiyana alias Mohammad Khan. The three youths had also lodged counter complaint against Sufiayana.

Meanwhile, about 4-5 people from Muslim communitty on August 1 afternoon went to Sindhi Camp locality and allegedly abused people from Sindhi community.
They also threatened some of the shop owners.
The incident created tension in Badnera when Sindhis immediately shut their shops and reached Badnera Police Station demanding to arrest the accused.
The Sindhis conducted a meeting at Jhulelal Auditorium at Sindhi Camp locality in which they have decided to protest the incident by keeping their shopd closed.
Shiv Sena and MNS activists also were present and they too supported the bandh. Strong Police bandobast was deployed. Sanjay Band, former MLA and also ihe District President of Shiv Sena. Nana Nagmote. former District President. Kishor Pawar. Kishor Jadhav, Mahesh

Hundreds of Sindhi community people reached to Police Commissionerate and demanded to take action against the youths.
