RASHTRASANT Kramiparva Smrutidin' was organised at Samudayeek Pranhana Mandir here under the auspices of Shri Gurudeo Sewa Mandal, Urjanagar, recently. Chandrashekhar Sawaitul, Deputy Chief Engineer Of Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station (CSTPS) presided over the programme while Gramgeetacharya Bandopant
Bodhekar was the chief speaker. Purushottam Warjurkar. Welfare Officer. Moreshwar madavi. Vilas Choudhari (Pendhari). and Dhammane were present as the chief guests on the occasion.
The programme commenced with tributes to martyrs of the Quit India Movement of 1942 by presenting patriotic songs that filled the audience with strong spirit for wellbeing of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion. Gramgeetacharya Bodhekar said that India's struggle tor freedom was not only against the British rule hut against the imperialism that was spreading throughout the world. "General puhlic stood against the British rule under the leadership of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj during the Quit India Movement of 1942 and die Chimur Revolution was the highest peak of the national movement. Warjurkar. in his address, appreciated Shri Gurudeo Sewa Mandal for its efforts to create virtues and peace-fulness among the people. Chandrashekhar Sawaitul. in his presidential address, said that Indian society is engrossed with various problems like addiction, dowry, superstitions and other social malaises and there is the need to take inspiration from the thoughts of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj and to work in uniiv to eradicate all these problems from the society. The Shri Gurudeo Sewa Mandals should take initiatives in this regard which would become revolution of the present era. opined Sawaitul. Bhaurao Bawane delivered introductory remarks. Jayant Dethe conducted the proceedings of the programme while Rajendra Poinkar proposed vote of thanks. Shankar Darekar. Harish Sasankar. Murlidhar Gohane. Vilas Ugey, Satish Londhe. aikl members of various Gurudeo Sewa Mandals in Urjanagar. Khairgaon. and Durgapur were largely present on the occasion. The programme concluded with National Anthem.
