Students sing their way to glory
SANGEET Vidyaiaya under Brahman Sabha here held the annual inter-school classical singing contest recently. Total thirty-six students from 15 local schools participated in the contest organised in two groups.
Vishal Bawaskar and Nayaiia Inamdar worked as judges for the contest while Avinsh Deo. President Brahman Sabha. Mohan Gadre. Secretary. Headmistress Shobha Agrawal were chiefly present on the occasion.
Abha Khanapurkar conducted the contest. Gadre made the introductory speech while Saroj Joshi. a teacher, briefed the audience about the contest.
I'rashant Korannc, music teacher, proposed a vote of thanks.
From Group A, Mrunmayee Prasliant Awandekar from Khadelwal English School. Umesh Devpute from Hindu Dnyanpeeth and Megha Jawalkar from Prabhal Kids secured prizes while from Group B. Gayairi Tiwari from Swawlambi Vidyalaya. Adinalh Dhumale from New English School and Janhavi Anant Gadre from Bal Shivaji School were declared prize winners.
