MERITORIOUS students excelling in board and university examinations were felicitated at award distribution function held here in Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College.

Dinesh Patil. an IAS officer and Accountant General of Maharashtra State, was chief guest of the programme. Marotrao Kamble. Vice-Principal of Education Society, chaired the programme. Dr Vidyadhar Bansod, Chairman of Board of Studies of Marathi Gondwana University, Prof Deveash Kamble. Secretary of Society, and Dr Azizul Haque. Principal, were prominently present on the dais.

The cynosure of the function were Bharati Shriram Yeole. third merit in subject Pali, Milind Abaji Thakare, fifth merit in Marathi and RupaliPramodChoudhari. fifth merit in sociology in MA examinations of RTM. Nagpur University. Supriya Jaideo Shende scoring highest marks in the college in BA examination and Avanti Kamble topper in junior college were also honoured. Speaking on the occasion. Dinesh Paul called upon the siudems 10 put in hard work 10 achieve success in the life. Befriend the books to remove darkness in the life, exhorted Dr Vidyadhar Bansod. Marotrao Kamhle in his presidential address urged ihe pupils 10 embrace social commitment after completing education.

Devesh Kamble also guided the siudcnts. Dr Azizul Haque in his introductory speech read out about the various activities conducted by the college.

Prof Jagdish Meshram conducted the programme while Prof D B Fulzele proposed a vote of thanks.
