Seoni's Wushu players win three Golds in School Sports Meet

THE 60th School State-level Sports Competition was organised at Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls' School from September 91013. In this tournament. 10 students of Seoni district participated in divisional level Wushu Competition and won Gold medals. After this they participated in State-level Tournament and won 3 Gold.4silverand 3 bronze medals.

The selected players shown their talent as they gain training under guidance of Secretary of District Wushu Association and National Coach. Sohan Lai Sen NIH. They brought laurel to district with their excellence performance in State level lournament.

Khushi Thakur. a Student of Gurukul Public School Barghat under Sub Junior 32 kilogram category won the gold medal. Divanshi Thakur student of Gurukul Public School Barghat under Sub Junior 36 kilogram category won gold medal. Sonal Thakur student of Maharani Laxmi Bai Girl's School under Sub Junior 36 kilogram category won gold medal and brought laurel to district Seoni.

These students would now be eligible participated in the national level tournament.

Sainki Lajrat student of Uday Public School under 56 kg category won the silver medal. Aman Ullakhan student of Uday Public School under 40 kilogram category won the silver medal. Mahak Kahdhe student of Gurukul Public School Barghat under 56 kg category won the Silver medal.

Similarly. Kashif Khan of M ission English Medium Schoool, Vasu Hanumat of Gurukul Public School. Ragini Kumhare of Maharani Laxmi Bai  Girl's  School  and  Govind Prajapati won Bronze medals under their weight category.
