MLA Ravi Rana recently staged thiyya agitation at the cabin of Dilip Ghugal. Superintending Engineer of Maharashtra Slate Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the demand to immediately withdrew 2 per cent Local Body Tax (LBT) imposed on the electricity bills of power consumers and regarding his various demands. Notably, the people in Badnera Assembly Constiluencv arc lacing various electricity problems since long. The irked people informed MLA Ravi Rana regarding their various problems. Taking cognisance of that MLA Ravi Rana recently staged thiyya in the cabin of Dilip Ghugal. Superintending Engineer of MSEDCL. The agitation was staged for the demands to immediately withdraw the unnecessary imposition of 2 per cent Local Body Tax on the electricity bills of the customers, to spread underground independent electricity line from 220 K V Koniieshwar Sub-Slalion to 33 K

V  Badnera Sub-Station, to immediately remove the live electricity wires hanging over the houses at Adarsha Nagar.   Rajendra   Nagar.   Jyoti Colony, Maraiha Vihar and other localities of the city, to install street lights on the electricity poles in Amravati and Badncra, to solve the problems of the people within 8 days and regarding his various others demands. Rana further warned that he would not allow the Superintending Engineer to sit in his chair if the demands are not conceded within 8 days.Sunil  Kale.
