Poll preparations going on as planned:Sona
PRELIMINARY arrangements made by the district administration for Assembly elections in the four Assembly segments of Waniha district arc going on in a planned manner. Flying squads are being deployed to ensure complete adherence to the code of conduct. Support from the parties is the need of the hour for effective implementation of the code of conduct for the election, appealed Navin Sona. District Collector.

Vilas Thakare (Arvi), Vaibhav Nawadkar. SDO. Wardha. Harish Dharmik (Deoli), Shailendra Meshram and Sunii Gadhe. Resident Deputy Collector. were present on the occasion.
The Collector further mentioned dial the code of conduct has been implemented in the district. Removal of posters and banners have already begun. Posters and banners will be allowed only after getting permission from respective Municipal Councils in the district in the prescribed places. He also pointed out measures to be followed while conducting public meetings under Municipal Council's jurisdiction and in rural areas. He also appealed to use 24 hour control room facility.
Anil Paraskar informed about various measures provided by district police administration to conduct fair and peaceful election in the district.
The programme was well-attended by officials of Revenue Department and Police Department.
