'NSS can play a major role in building nation'
"INDIA is facing various problems such as terrorism, unemployment. Naxalism and others. Hence National Service Scheme (NSS) can play a major role in building the nation and developing good human beings." said Prof Dr Santosh Bansod of Arts College. Badnera and District Coordinator of NSS. He was delivering his inaugural speech at the National Service Scheme camp of Arts and Science College. Kiran Nagar, Amravati affiliated to Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGAU) recently.
DrShrikant Deshpande. Principal of the college chaired the programme while Prof Ravindra Khandekar, Secretary of the institute. Sarodc. Treasurer. Sanjay Joshi and Riyajuddin Deshmukh. Police Inspector from Frczarpura Police Station, were present as the guests for the programme.
Guiding further Dr Bansod said that the feeling of humanity has been decreasing rapidly and communal-ism is increasing. The dirty politics also has reached to the village level. To overcome that development of the ideal society isessential which is possible only through NSS. he added.
Other guests also expressed their views on the occassion. Prof Dr Shrikani Bansod delivered the introduciory remarks while Mahajan proposed a vote of thanks. Blood donation camp was organised after the inaugural programme in which about 77 students donated blood on the occassion. All the NSS volunteers look pain for the SUCCes of the programme.
