A HUGE Jan Akrosh rally was organised by the Nationalist Congress Party at Eiapalli on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Dharmarao Baba Atram, ex-Minister and district chief of the party.

Lalita Mattami, Chairperson of Eiapalli Panchayai Samiti, Pushpa Alone. District chief of Womens Wing of NCP. Sanjay Charduke. Sapna Kodape, Panchayat Samiti member. Daulat Dahagaokar. Adv Rajendra Menganwar were prominently present.

Addressing the rally Atram said that several developmental works were taken up when he was MI.A of the area but now the problems of the people in the area were being ignored by the local public representatives.

Atram appealed to the People that they should raise their voice against diis negligence.

Atram strongly opposed the inclusion of any other community in Scheduled Tribes category and said that the irihals should get their rights. The reservation of OBCs in the district be raised to 19 percent as earlier and the injustice being done with them should he removed, he demanded.

Atram also reiterated the demand of the formation of separate Aheri district for the speedy development of this backward region.

He called upon the party workers to work for solving the problems of the people.

The other leaders also addressed the rally highlighted the problems Of the iribals of the area.
