MP's PEB scam should be handed over to CBI, demands Satyadeo Katare
SENIOR Congress party leader and Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Satyadeo Katare. who took a brief halt in Gondia recently enroute to Balaghal. talked to mediapcrsons at Government Rest House. Gondia. He levelled several charged on Shivrajsingh Chauhan Government in Madhva Pardesh and demanded that the probe in professional examination board (PEB) scam Should be handed over to CBI.
Katare said that it is the third term for Bharatiya Janata Party's government in Madhya Pradesh and the party which claims of following ideologies is under a scanner in MP following the mega PEB scam.
"There are large scale irregularities in PEB which conductes 81 different types of examinations. After 2005. BJP Government started recruitment process through the board. Authorities involved have made serous mistakes by declaring pass candidate as fail and failed candidate as pass. CM Chauhan himself accepted in the House about over 1,000 fake recruitment since 2007 through PEB. There arc similar irregularities in Public Service Commission recruitment and monline society's functioning. The chief executive officer of the society has gone underground since past six months." he said. With so much chaos, how can the CM keep himself aloof. Katare asked. If CM is clean then why he is afraid of conducting probe with CBI. he further questioned.
About Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Government he said Modi has failed during his hundred days Stint "Tell if there is any decline in inflation or corruption". Kaiare said.
When asked about ongoing rift between Congress and NCP in Maharashtra over seat sharing, Katare said that the issue will soon be solved through talks between senior leaders of both the party and he hoped that both the party will contest coming Assembly election in alliance.
Paraswada MLA Madhu Bhagat. MP State Congress representative Anupsingh Bais and others were present with Katare.
