Gondwana Sainiki Vidyalaya wins laurels
SHOWING outstanding performance in taluka-level sports contest held on the government stadium here recently, the Gondwana Sainiki Vidyalaya won kabaddi and kho kho games.
The contest was organised by-Sports and Youth Services Department under its Rajiv Gandhi Sports Campaign. As many as 30 teams from 14 to 17 years age group had participated in this contest.
In 14 years group kabaddi. the team of Gondwana Vidyalaya bagged the prize by defeating rival M G Vidyalaya. Nawegaon by 24-20. The 17 years group contest was also won by the Gondwana students. They defeated over SOS team. In khu kho [he leam of Gondwana School won in all the age groups coniest and go! selected for the districtlevel contest. The winning students have given the credit of their success to Principal Sanjay Bhandarkar. Sports Incharge Bhupendra Chaudhari, Laxman Kodape and Yogesh Chavan.
