Four accused get MCR in leopard skin seiZure case
AMRAVATI forests division officials had arresied six accused in the leopard skin seizure case that was executed a week back near Warud in the district. Warud Court on Wednesday granted VICR to four accused in the case till Sepember 22.
Amravati forest division officers had arrested two pcrsoas for illegal trading of wildlife trophies and a leopard skin (Schedule One animal) was seized from them one week back. The preliminary offence was registerd on August 31. 2014 and an investigation team of ACF. RFOs and foresters was set up for further investigation. Forest department has arrested six accused so far in connection with the hunting and smuggling of the leopard skin.
The arrested accused include Firoz Shah. Dinesh Belkhade, Prashant
