Dr AP J Abdul Kalam to present medals at RTMNU Convocation

At RTMNU Convocation Dr AP J Abdul Kalam to present medals 

PRIYANKA Victory Bertram of SFS College will be receiving 17 medals in B Sc in the 100th convocation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) to be held on Friday. September 26. She along with three other top medal winners will be receiving medals at the hands of former President of India Or APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr Vijay Bhatkar. father of Super Computer, will be receiving D.Litt in the same function. Ashutosh Madhukar Apte BOd Khushbu Dilip Chhajed will be honoured with 15 medals each. Ashutosh achieved success in LLB (three years) while Khushbu did LLB (five years). Mohit Sharma of Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) will be getting 10 medals in engineering. This is for the tlrst time that a student from engineering faculty is receiving so many medals. Naresh Manikrao More of Dr Ambedkar College of Arts and Commerce, Brahmapuri will receive 11 medals. This convocation will be for the students of year 2012. The number of Ph.Ds to be awarded are 998. This number is the combined one of the year 2012 and 2013.

The other medal winners include Rupali NagoraoChaudhari- 9 medals in MA (Sanskrit). She is the student of Vasantrao Naik Government Institute of Arts and Social Science. Siddharth Gulabrao Shambharkar of New Arts and Commerce College, Wardlia also received 9 medals in MA (Marathi). Privanka Pramod
