THE learn of Dr Kamallai Gavai Engineering College. Daryapur (KGEC). run by Dada Saheb Gavai Charitable Trust ranked amongst the the best 10 racers al the International Supra F! racing competition which 100k place recently al M M S C Racing Track. Chennai.

The Fl car used in the racing competition was developed in the workshop of college. The car was made in three months by team of 25 students under the guidance of SM Kharde, Principal and PJ Bhadange of Mechanical Department. Total 104 colleges had participated across the country including 1IT. NTT. IRC and Government Engineering Colleges. Amongst them KGEC. Darapur ranked 10th and is die single college ranking in the best 10 from Vidarbha. The team was lead by Shrikant Khating, final year student of Mechanical Branch. Ritesh Koine. Amol Gavnde. UmeshSinkar. Basw-eshwarPude. Pravin Fase. Shubham Thackrey, Akshay Pawar. Priiam Yavale. Amol Savarkar. Abhijeet Biradar, GauravGcdam. PiyushGulhane. Akshay Wankhade. Sangharsh Ambhore. Manoj Kaiikar, Prashant Kirte. Vishal Nemade, Vinay Nis-vade, Nikhil Bodade. Swapnil Lan-gade. Swapnil Bhatkar, Ankush Mal-pe. Vikki Dahikar. and Sharayu Borkar were among the students' team who developed the car. The team was supported by M M Patil. Work shop Head. V N Tikhe. S K Sheikh. Ganesh Sakharc. BB Ardak and others.
