THOUGH science and technology have brought the world closer, one should not take false pride in acknowledge of any particular language. It is important that students should try to learn different languages and become multilingual to widen once knowledge, said Pravin Bardapurkar. senior journalist. He was addressing the concluding programme of Diamond Jubilee celebration of Bharat Vidyalaya.
The programme was presided over by Captain Rakesh Korde, an alumni of Bharai Vidyalaya. As it was also the Teacher's Day. retired teachers of the school were felicitated on the occasion.

Retired teachers Sudha Kordc. Ramesh Korde. A I Sheikh, B T Kusumbe. Aran Deshpande. Kishor Garge. Shriram Sonune. Narayan Simbre. Vitthal Shinde. Sakharam Susar and others were felicitated with shawl, shreefal and citation. Decpali Patil read out the citation. Narcndra I-anjcwar. Librarian, imroduced the guests and delivered introductory remarks.
Speaking on the occasion. Captain Rakesh Korde urged students to keep away from superstitions and develop an analytical mind. He also appealed them to lead a life that, through its acts, recognizes Nature's role in their well-being and expresses gratitude. On the occasion. Rakesh Korde presented a donation of Rs 6 lakh to the school. Another alumni of the school Rajiv Maidarkar donated Rs I lakh. Ranjit Rajput, Editor of Daily 'Good Evening City' conducted the programme beautifully while another former student Angad Aagashe proposed a vote of thanks.
During the two-day celebration. Sevankumr Limited. Amravati's Chctal Uchhkar, Tejas Naik. Ramcsh Misal, Joshi from Nagpur along with Dr Avinash Saoji presented 'Sawad Rajani.' Programmes like release of souvenir, cultural programmes etc were organised. Painting exhibition of former students Jagan Rathod and Rahul Saoji was also organised.
Ex-students from various parts of the State, students and parents were present in large numbers for the programme.
