Across Vidarbha schools, eager audience listen to PM's words
THOUSANDS of students in Amravati district listened to the special address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for school children on the occasion of Teachers' day on Friday. Most schools had made arrangements to facilitate children to hear message of Prime Minister Modi while at some places power cuts posed problems for school administration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi communicated with children across the country on the occasion of Teachers' Day. All schools were informed by Education Department to make arrangements of Television sets so that children could hear Modi's speech for them.
Amravati district has 2.805 private and government schools that include 1.602 schools of Amravati Zilla Parishad mostly in rural pans. The district has around 5.50 lakh students.
Most schools in Amravati district had made arrangements for students to listen to PM and students listened to the speech in rapt attention. Some schools in rural pans faced problems due to power cuts and showers. Headmasters and teachers of schools were busy making arrangements for showing live speech of PM to students.
Students in the blind schools also listened to speech while radio sets were also used for that. Arrangements for TV. Generator. Radio. Mobiles were also made at different schools.

Kishor Chaudhari, Education Officer (Primary), told 'The Hitavada' that a total of 6.13.284 students in 3.207 schools in Nagpur city and district listened to Prime Minister's speech. A total of 3.750 schools had conveyed their participation in the national event, but some schools could not make
