Mungaliwar reiterated his stand on statehood to Vidarbha and claimed that it is not only the question of feelings of the region, but the demand have strong conslitution base as it was recommended by Stale Reorganisation Commission instituted by Central Government in 1953.

Mungatiwar further told the media the state is burdened with the loan of Ks 3 lakh crore and slate has to pay Rs 23,000 crore against its interest. He added that State Government would bring out a While Paper on financial condition of the Maharashtra.
