CM reviews functioning of 23 departments
NEW Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has started playing T-20 match to puilhe devclopment of backward Vidarbha region on fast track. Fadnavis has decided to introduce special system for sorting out problems of Vidarbha at state level.The CM took review of 23 important departments related to Vidarbha at Ramgiri. Fadnavis directed adminisiralion to present proposals through Divisional Commissioner regarding Gosikhurd project and other important projects of the region. He said, all pending projects would be cleared at Mantralaya levelattheeariiestHehas directed police department to search space for two new police stations at Bellarodi and Mil IAN area.
Divisional Commissioner Anoop Kumar briefed him regarding various projects related to backward region. He briefed the CM about rehabilitation of Na-gpur, Bhandara, and other areas of project affected people of Gosikhurd irrigation project.The first phase of rehabilitation has been completed while work of second phase isgoingon.Thegov-ernment has accorded top priority to rehabilitation and 70 per cent work of package was completed. The officers gave presentation regarding development of Sevagram. vacant posts of Gadchiroli district, projects affected due to forest and conservation act, Gorewadazoo, irrigation, PWD, Electricity, problems related to Police department and others.
Redirected police department to search land for police stations at Bajaj Nagar, Shanli Nagar, Mankapur and other locations. I le said, police should prepare a plan to handle traffic problems of Nagpur on die lines of Delhi. Around 11 projects of Gadchiroli district are pending due to forest conservation act The administration should prepare a proposal to increase irrigation potential with permission from Central Government.
