Dongarwar held, released in camera theft case
BHEEMSEN Dongarwar, a resident of Dhabepaoni under Arjuni Morgaon police station and grandson of Wellknown wildlife conservator Late Madhavrao patil Dongarwar 'Aranyaputra', was arrested by the police on charges of stealing expensive camera.
Police reportedly recovered the camera from Donagwar's possession, litter, the court granted bail to Bheemsen.
Navegaonbandh police registered an offence under relevant sections of IPC and PI SunilPaul is conducting enquiry into the case.
According to police complainant Or Bahar Srikrishna Bawiskar, a resident of Friends Colony in Nagpur had came on visit to Navegaonbandh National Park on January 26,2012. He was accompanied by the accused Dongarwar in I he park.Bawiskar was having expensive camera worth Rs 2.5 lakh which he found missingfrom the Rest House they were staying in, on return. He had suspicion on Dongarwar but at that time die camera was not found with him. Bawiskar was having good relations with the Donganvars and used to visit them regularly.
