PCR of Yug's killers extended till 17th


JUDICIAL Magistrate First Class (JMFC) D S Parwani on Monday extended the police custody remand (PCR) of the two killers of Yug, an eight-year-old son of well-known dental surgeon Dr Mukesh Chandak. till September 17. Facing charees of kidnapping, murdering and destroying evidence under Sections 363. 364 (A), 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, the two accused  Rajcsh Dhanalal Daware (19). a resident of Plot No 5. Wajri Layout, near Jai Ambe Kirana Stores. Kalamna, and Arvind Abhilash Singh (23), a resident of Preeti Layout. Nara Road. Jaripatka were produced before JMFC Parwani by senior Inspector (Lakadganj) S K Jaiswal as their PCR ended on Monday.
Seeking extension of PCR of the accused duo. Addiiional Public Prosecutor Saiish Ghode. who was assisted by Adv Lubesh Meshram. informed the court that Rajesh Daware was a native of village Sawn in Gondia district. During his interrogation, he told the police that he had decided to accept the money from Yug's father at Gondia and keep the cash at his native place. APP Ghode added.
APP Ghode stated that the inves tigators wanted to take Daware to Gondia to find out whether any other person from Gondia had any connection with the case. However, the statements given by Arvind Singh, who had demanded Rs lOcrorefrom Dr Mukesh Chandak by contacting him on his cellphone, to the interrogators were contradictory to those of Daware. added the prosecutors.
APP Ghode slated that Arvind Singh told the police during interrogation that they had hatched a plan to accept the cash from Dr Chandak
