'NSS helps students shape their personality
THH National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Laie Dattatraya Pusadkar Arts College. Nandgaon Peth was inaugurated at the college recently.
Dr Vijay Darane. Principal of the college, chaired the programme. Rajesh Pidadi. Public Relation Officer of NSS Department of Sam Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGAU) and Student Welfare Department. was present as the chief guest while Dr Sunita Balapure. NSS Programme Officer, and Dr Shrikant Mahulkar. Joint NSS Programme Officer, were present as the guests of honour.
Guiding about NSS Rajesh Pidadi said that the work to shape students' personality and to connect people is being done through the medium of National Service Scheme. He also gave some tips regarding the physical fitness considering the need of physically and mentally strong NSS volunteers while implementing the projects in the interest of nation. Dr Sunita Balapure in her guidance said that students should contribute in the development of ideat society by achieving their own progress through the medium of NSS.
Dr Vijay Darane in his presidential speech said that best and active citizens are developed through the platform of NSS. Similarly, they can also achieve success through NSS in their life. Dr Shrikant Mahulkar also guided in the programme.
At the outset. Rajesh Pidadi inaugurated the NSS unit by lighting the traditional lamp and performing the pujan of the portrait of Sant Gadgebaba.
Kavita Wadurkar conducted the proceedings. Dr P R Jadhav. Prof R T Brahmane. Dr G M Tirmanwar. Dr S K Pawar. Prof V T Adlok. Dr P D More. Prof Pranali Gaudik, Dnyaneshwar Baraskar. Vinayak Pa wade. Dilip Parwe. Rahul Pande and all the employees from the college and NSS Volunteers were present in large numbers for the programme. The programme was concluded with the prayer 'Har desh mein tu'. All the NSS volunteers look pain for the successful organisation of the programme.
