MCR for Yug's killers till October 2
JUDICIAL Magistrate First Class (JMFC) D S Parwani on Wednesday remanded the two killers of Yug. an eight-year-old son of noted dental surgeon Dr Mukesh Chandak, to magisterial custody till October 2.
Soon after the court's order the two accused — Rajesh Dhanalal Daware (19), a resident of Plot No. 5, Wajri Layout, near Jai Ambe Kirana Stores, Kalamna, and Arvind Abhilash Singh (23), a resident of Preeti Layout, Nara Road. Jaripatka - were sent to Central Jail.
Daware and Singh, facing charges of kidnapping, murdering and destroying evidence under Sections 363. 364 (A). 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, were produced before the court by senior Inspector (Lakadganj) S K Jaiswal as their 15-day PCR ended on Wednesday.
Additional Public Prosecutor Satish Ghode. assisted by Adv Lubesh Meshram. sought magisterial custody remand (MCR) of the accused duo till October 2. Adv Shashank Choube, Law Officer, appeared on behalf of the Police Department.
The court remanded the two accused to magisterial custody.
A resident of Guruvandana Apartment. Chhapru Nagar. Yug was kidnapped by Daware and Arvind Singh and took him on a scooteretle after he returned from his school between 4 pm and 5 pm on September 1.A Standard II student of Centre Point School, Yug knew Daware as he used to work at his father's Chandak Dental Clinic. Before going with Daware and Arvind Singh. Yug handed over his schoolbag to die watchman and told him that would return after half an hour.
Daware and Arvind Singh then took the boy near village Babulkheda on Lonkhairi-Patansawangi Road. Under a bridge, they brutally killed him. They removed his school T-shirt and covered the body with leaves and boulders in a hid to destroy the evidence.
After almost 30 hours of the incident, cops detected the heinous crime and arrested the culprits.
