Lecture on 'Abstract Algebra' organised in D B Science College
D B SCIENCE College is a only the science college in district providing opportunities to the students to interact with experts of their respective fields. On this line Department of Mathematics of the college organised a guest lecture on Abstract Algebra, the event was arranged under the guidance of Principal Dr Anjan Naidu who also presided over the function .
Dr Purushouam Jha. Department of Mathematics, J Y Government Autonomous Arts. Commerce and Science College. Raipur guided the students regarding the latest trends in Abstract Algebra elaborating particularly on Linear Algebra. "Aleebra is the backbone of Computer Science and therefore Algebra leads co Higher technology with its impacts"." In Modern Mathematics Algebra has become so important that the number will have symbolic meaning." he further added.
Dr. Anjan Naidu in a meeting of research fellows stressed on the need of Mathematical Association in central India and Research centre of Mathematics at D B Science College. Gondia
During his lecture he also threw light on aspects of Vector-Spaces. Dimensional Bases etc.
Dr H R Trivedi. Head. Department of Mathematics conducted the proceedings while Prof V M Soni. proposed a vote of thanks.
Shruti Yadav. PriyaGyanchandani along with others worked hard for the success of programme.
