AN INTER-COLLEGIATE Cross Country competition of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGAU) was organised by Barrister RDIK & KD College.Badncrarunby Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society. Amravati.

Vice-President of the education society, Yuvraj Chaudhary. Secretary, Pankaj Deshmukh, Treasurer. Hemant Deshmukh. Dr R D Deshmukh. Principal. Dr Avinash Asnare, Dr Shrokant  Patil,   Dr  Dilip  Kale. Principal of Social Work College. Aniruddha Gawandc. President of Jijau Bank, and Dr Dahir Qurcshi.

Total 340 boys and 192 girl students from the colleges affiliated to SGAU from all the five districts of Amravati division had participated in the competition. Sarita Wanjari from R A College. Washim won the race among girls. Savita Dhoke from Tulshiram Jadhav College. Washim remained second and Priti [.anjewar of Degree College of Physical Education. Amravati bagged third spot followed by Priya Dhabekar of Lokmanya Tilak College. Wani at fuorth , Ashwini Jadhav of SPM College. Chikhti at fifth and Pratiksha Kene of Shivshakti College. Babhulgaon at sisih place.

Among boys. Kishor Jadhav of Nehru Mahavidyaiaya, Ncrparsopam won ihe race and Sheikh Salim Sheikh Hussain of Degree College of Physical Educaiion. Amravati fin-ished second. Mangesh Wani of Tuishiram Jadhav College. Washim came ihird. He was followed by Akshaykumar Jadhav of Narayanrao Nagare College. Dusarbid. Rahul Jamnik of Dr R G Rathod College. Murtijapur, Vilthal Surya of Tuishiram Jadhav College. Washim Omprakash Gedam of Bhaniya Mahavidyalaya. Amravati. Ravindra Pawar of Shivaji Arts and Commerce College. Amravati and Shahrukh Manjare of M S Gote College. Washim respectively.

Degree College of Physical Education. Amravati won the championship from women's category  while Tulshiram Jadhav College. Washim bagged the championship from mens group.

Prof M T Deshmukh. Chairman of Board of Physical Education and Recreation. Sam Gadgebaba Amravali University, chaired the prize distribution ceremony while Dr Uttamchand Thakur. Dr R D Deshmukh. Principal. DrDilipKale. Principal. Dr K K Debnath and Dr Sanjay Deshmukh were present as the chief guests.

Employees from Barrister RDIK& KD College. Badnera and Social Work College. Amravati. officers and employees from Police Commissionerate. Rural Police Depanmem and from S.R.P.F. Group-9 extended support for success of the competition.
