Demand to open auto stand at Distt General Hospital
A DEMAND for auto-rickshaw siaikl at District General Hospital has been pressed by Aakramati Auto Association.
Auto-rickshaws are presently not allowed in the premises of the District General Hospital which is causing difficulties to emergency patient to reach OPD and wards which are far away from main entrance.
A stand by the compound wall of hospital premises was in use by auto-rick-shaw owners to park their vehicles. A small garden has now been developed in that area, therefore the auto-rickshaw drivers have no alternative to park vehicle except the main road which causes traffic hurdle.
However, administration is not taking any cognisance of association's demand although it is in public interest, the association has said.
A memorandum regarding their demand has been submitted to District Collector, it was informed by District President of the association Suraj Meshram.
