Dance, chess competitions see promising performances
AN OPEN chess and group dance competition arranged by The Janata Bank Karmachari Ganeshotsav Mandal was well responded by the contestants. Theevent was orgaiased as a pan of cultural activity during ten-day of Ganesh festival.
Results of the competition in two different categories were declared by the mandal recently in which Nikhil Nitin Chaudhari (Chess A group). Ishan Mangesh Deshpande (Chess B group! bagged first prize and Angel Group (Group Dance A) and Nishu Kotahri Convent (Group Dance B) stood first in the competition. Swapnil A kuni. Isha Ajay Sarda and Shrcyash Ajay Khandelwal were second, third and fourth winner in chess coniesl in group A. In group B chess matches, Tushar S Shriwastav. Yashwant STelanand Rugvcd M Mananhekar were on second, third and fourth position. In group dance competition, Mayuri Kids and Navrang Kaththak were second and third prize winner in group A. Ganesh Group and Mayuri Group bagged second and third prize in group B.
Akola Janata Bank Commercial Co-operative Bank Chairman Bhimrao Dhotre inaugurated the chess compeiition in morning session. MP Sanjay Dhotre, Pradip Goenka MD. Ashish Lohiya, P M Sadanshiv. Viplav Hajoriyaandoth-erdirectors were presenl on this occasion. Prize distribution took place at the hands of MLA Govardhan Sharma at the end of evening session. Jitcndra Agrawal. Anil Edalab-adkar. judged the chess competition. Dr Varsha Bakre Patil. Arun Ghatole and Akshaya Patil were judges for dance competition. Ganesh Mandal President Shankar Sharma. Vice Presidents Vilas Agrawal and Anil Laturiya. Secretary Anil Padiya. Treasurer Vijay Agrawal and other members worked for success of festival. Krushnakumar Sharma and Pramod Ratnaparkhi proposed a vote of thanks in morning and evening session respectively.
