Buldana's auditorium will soon be a reality: Civic Chief


THE district auditorium, needed to add to the cultural glory of the district, may soon see light of the day. informed T D Ambhore Patil. Municipal Council President while addressing a press conference held at local Rest House recently.
Construction of the auditorium was languishing for want of funds for last five years. The auditorium to come up at the cost of Rs 3.11 crore has been witnessing delays since last five years. However, recently the MC has paid Rs 25 lakh out of the Rs 75 lakh to the 13th Planning Commission and it is expected that the work would be completed by December. Ambhore Patil said.

Decisions have also been taken regarding fire centre, vehicles, and remaining works of the building along with repairs of platforms at the weekly market, compound wall, and ring road bypass. DP Road, road works under Nagarothan Abhiyan etc. informed Ambhore Patil.
Ambhore Patil informed that for the Rs 1.05 crore fire centre that will come up in the city and fire fighting vehicles, the MC lias given its contribution of Rs 30 lakh.
He also threw light on the other development works planned like repair of platforms at weekly market, compound wall, entrance gate, painting of shops, street lights etc to be done at an expense of Rs 2.25 crore.
Besides, a Nana-Nani park, beau-tification of Vyas Balodyan. OTO Bypass Ring Road worth Rs 1.24 crore and Rs51 lakhDPRoad. streetlight worth Rs 25.18 lakh eic. taring of 46 roads worth Rs 3.06 crore and Rs I crore for other development works have been planned, informed T D Ambhore.
